Figure 1 - Define Regions. OCRFolder allows you to designate specific regions or zones of an image to process. Once defined, an entire folder of images can be converted to ASCII text using that template, converting only the specific regions you defined. Download Now.
Figure 2 - Process Image Files. Using your region definitions, OCRFolder will generate ASCII text for all image documents within a designated folder.
For example, if you had a thousand bitmap documents that each contained a name, social security number, and date. You could define only those regions to be processed. OCRFolder could then generate a delimited text file containing only those fields.
Figure 3 - Export Results to File. Text results can be stored to either a Text Delimited File, XML File, or Excel File. For a Text Delimited File, you can select or define your own delimiters.

The next major version of the OCR.Net Component is scheduled to be released in September 2008.
The new version will include support for English and non-English languages.
