The OCRTools OCR.Net Component is a programming component that can be integrated into your Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 .Net applications to generate ASCII text from a bitmap or an image file; such as a TIF, GIF, BMP, or JPG file. The OCR.Net Component will interpret combinations of ASCII Upper Case, Lower Case, Numeric, and/or Special Characters.
Developers can use the OCRTools Component to add OCR capabilities to their custom software. If your application uses document images, the OCRTools Component is royalty-free, so there are no additional costs for distribution or runtime licenses
